oracle RAC - partitions space
hi
on a oracle RAC system ( made by Oracle database 10g + Oracle Clusterware 11g with Oracle ASM 11g, all in two linux servers)
that use Storage Area Network (that hardware does redundancy ) for the data, how many separated partitions do i need in order to buld the oracle RAC?
Reading the documentation i found, it seems that i need:
- 1 raw partition (1 gb) for ocr file - oracle clusterware requirement
- 1 raw partition (1 gb) for voting file - oracle clusterware requirement
- 1 raw partition (xxx gb) for the database file (datafiles, redo log, trc, archive ecc ecc ecc )
is this correct?
