  This discussion focuses on the common issues with Installing the precompilers in 10g and 11g.

Why do I need to install the precompilers using the "Client" CD if I already selected "Programmer" option during the Database installation?
Where are the precompilers located in 10g and 11g DVD sets?
Why is ORACLE_HOME/precomp/demo missing from my 10g or 11g installation?
Where are the makefiles and samples previously found in ORACLE_HOME/precomp/demo/proc or ORACLE_HOME/precomp/demo/procob?
