Dealing with massive Orders

Hi there,

My client is wondering how have other implementations dealt with massive order sizes, ie 50 or more CPs in one order, where XML files can range from 10MB or bigger. I'm sure this is common in B2B ordering scenarios especially with network ordering.

What experiences do people have in addressing this --- in finding ways to potentially reduce sizes and/or improve the performance and efficiency of the overall ordering process?
