Combine multiple recovery catalogs for different target versions into a single recovery catalog

Hello;

We are still running SIDs in 9i/10G in addition to 11G. In the past, we would create a new SID to hold the recovery catalogs of the new target vesion. So currently on our backup server, we have 3 RMAN SIDs running 9i, 10G, and 11G. My question is, can the 9i & 10G recovery catalogs be combined into a single 11G RMAN SID.
