Enabled Deliverables for Inventory Items But Unable to Differentiate Shipped vs. Installed Items

 Hello Projects Users,

We have enabled and Projects Deliverables for Inventory Items. It would have worked properly for us but unfortunately since we are a Construction company, the Deliverables functionality does not allow differenciation between an item that has been shipped to the project site, which is still an Inventory for us and when the Inventory Item is installed, which is when the item becomes project cost.

Was wondering if others have similar requirement and what their work-around was.
