Huge Deprn Adjustment Amount Added to backdated asset

Hi All,

Need your help in understanding the adjustment amount being added to the backdated assets. We have an asset with Original value 291996.95. This was entered in the system in April 2010 with the  date placed in service as April 2010. There is a huge adjustment amount added 58399.38. Below are the details after the depriciation is calculated.

Original Cost: 291996.95

Deprn Adjustment Amount: 58399.38

YTD Deprn: 68132.61

Method : STL

Life: 3 Years.

We want to understand why and how was a deprn adjustment amount of 58399.38 was added.
