Default Organiztion (Department) In SSHR
We are creating an Organization Hierarchy in our HR environment. We have a rather large SSHR deployment and would like to default the Organization (labeled as Department in SSHR) for new hires.
We have discovered the profile option " HR: Self Service Hire and Placement Default Values" which defaults the Organization (department) based on that of the user who is currently logged in. This profile option not only defaults Organization, but several other fields such as GRE, Payroll, and Salary Basis. We don't necessarily want these other fields to default.
So far, I haven't had any luck using the post initial values attributes or anything else through SSHR personalizations. I have to admit that I have never used post initial values before so I may not be configuring the personalizations correctly.
