Showing two homes but nothing found for the second db home on the registry

Hi
i have one windows platform oracle installed , i see there were client home and another for the dbhome installed.
under - start-allprograms i see two oracle homes like ora_clienthome/ ora_dbhome  but on the registry i see only one key for oracle client

i have an environment where the maintanance jobs will kick of a script and that script will check the oracle home from registry to start the maintanance, on this box it returns as like no instance found on the oracle home. so its pointing out the client home.

pls suggest to fix this
