how to edit/view the query of tasks under Task configuration

Hi, Is there any way we can view the query or notification values for the tasks under Taskconfigurations? Ex: Activity Reminder Task: When a notification is sent after this task execution, It has values in the "The resources for this activity are:" , Where does it pull the value from? When the notification is sent, it is including all the values in the Name field of the Team tab, but is not validating if that team member is a "resource" for that activity and populatign it with all the values which is confusing on the email, so we have to go back and look into the tasks to make sure we didn't add all those members to the resources. It is kind of misleading. Did anyone experience similar need for changing the query or compile the
