Courier Incoming Package Tracking

 Client wants to track courier (except USPS) packages from the time they reach the dock through to delivery to the requestor.  These can be any kind of package, FedEx letter for example, that may or may not be tied to a purchase order.  They want to use a hand-held device to scan the receipt and have the requestor sign on the device much like a UPS or FedEx delivery.  They would want to store the receipt date/time and delivery date/time information in a database.

I've looked at some low-cost packages with hand-held devices that would work but they do not have the capability to interface with Oracle.  In the future, they want to expand this capability to include document scanning.
