Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. TIP of the Week- Upgrading end-user client machines from jinitiator to Java Runtime Environment (JRE

JInitiator 1.3.1.x reached end of error correction support (ECS) on the 31st July 2009, see note 552692.1 for further information.

As no further fixes will be provided for jinitiator, we suggest customers upgrade to new replacement JRE.
