Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Can we use Oracle Streams as data Guard?

Hi All,

I want to setup a DR instance with 10gR2 on IBM AIX as primary database and 11gR1 on windows platforms as the standby database.

Can we use the oracle streams to work as Data guard for this kind of setup?
