Listener Security in Oracle RAC

 Hi,

I have implemented Oracle 10g R2 RAC on Ms Windows 2008 Servers for one of our customers.

I have 3 Oracle Homes - CRS, ASM and DB. I have configured Database Listener from ASM Home.

To enforce secuirty , can I password protected Database Listener and enable valid node checking feature like we do in single instance databases?

Is it ok to do this in Oracle RAC environment?

Please advice.
