Remitted receipts stuck in confirmed status

We are seeing issues with credit card receipts being hung in the confirmed status however we actually remitted the receipt to the credit card processor and charged the card.  Does anyone know how to get these receipts to show as remitted and have the proper GL distributions?  Is there a datafix for this?
