Changing translation variance account

This is what I get for not insisting that the accountants give me the exact account string they want to use when I’m setting up a new set of books.  I put a placeholder account number in for the cumulative translation variance account and – you guessed it – after we started using the set of books they decided that wasn’t the one they wanted to use.  Apparently you can’t change it after you start transacting without purging translated balances.  I found the menu path to do that but I’m not really sure what I’m doing and what the sequence
