Upgrade of 10g Version 1 database to 10g Version 2

 Good Afternoon,

I've run into a problem and I am at a crossroads. While upgrading a 10g Version 1 database to Version 2 using the DBUA, I've noticed that it doesn't complete the upgrade. It goes to about 8% complete then the DBUA just disappears. No error message, no complete message, nothing. I did review the trace logs and notice that there is a continual request to "Waiting for m_bReaderStarted to be true" that is never addressed. I thought that this may be the cause, but I'm not sure.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
