Variable tax rates on mileage (iExpenses)
Will simplify the situation we have.
We have 2 vehicle categories (VC) with different mileage allowance for each
VCx allowance is 40p/mile up to 1000 miles and then 25p/mile
VCy allowance is 25p/mile for unlimited miles
The tax rate is 17.5% and only applicable for 25p a mile on each category, i.e. 15p on VCx attracts no tax for the 1st 1000 miles travelled
If we only had VCy it would obviously be straightforward, with a blanket 17.5% rate and no complications with the mileage rate changing after x amount of miles.
