RAC instance went down

 Hi All,

 Yesterday my RAC instances are went down. Even I could not able to login as a oracle user through putty.

 I am getting the following error message in "Alert log" file

 My DB Environment is :

   OS : AIX 6.1

   Oracle : 11g R1 (11.1.0.7)

    RAC : Yes 

 Looking for expert advise on this issue.

Error Message :

TNS-00505: Operation timed out
    nt secondary err code: 78
    nt OS err code: 0
  Client address: (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=10.123.253.116)(PORT=2049))
