Time & Labor company and Payroll company on same instance of 8.12

For Time and Labor posting to GL, the company option for GL integration (data item IGL) must be set to T.  Since this is only on Company 00000, how can you get around this if you have two separate companies, one on Time and Labor and one processing payroll?
