Sort By Project Number in Project List

Is there a way to sort by Project Number in the Project List view with the Self-Service responsibility? Our users are unable to sort by clicking on the column header (it's not available, unlike other columns) and Project Number is not an option to select in the Sort Settings when creating a personalized view. We are on12.1.2.

Before we upgraded to 12.1.2, some of our users recall having the ability to sort by Project Number in 12.1.1 but are not 100% certain.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.
