Discrete Manufacturing- Can an OSP routing be S/N controlled when it is received?

 I am trying to find a solution to have an OSP operation and component that will be serialized to be recognized during incoming receiving.  The component being used outside is set For Serial Control in the Item Master but the lot/Serial buttton is not enabled during the receiving transaction.  If I purchase the component seperately through a normal requisition that is not under the OSP and job it works fine.

Any recommendations on how to get this to work?
