Is there a way to inactivate an Asset Category for just one book?

Hi-

The incorrect Accumulated Depreciation account string was entered for an Asset Category for a specific Corporate Book.  The error was not noted until after assets had been assigned & depreciation generated.    A new Asset Category was established for just that Book, and the assets were reclassfied to the new Category,  correcting the issue.

Is it possible to inactivate/end-date the incorrect Asset Category for just that Book, without inactivating the entire Asset Category?
