Oracle RAC Database Backups- HP Data Protector or Oracle Suggested Backups?

Hi,

I have implemented Oracle 10g R2 RAC on Windows 2008 Servers for Production Env.

We have already configured Oracle agent for HP- Data Protector and have configured Backups using HP-DP.

I am little confused if I should use HP - DP or use OEM DB console and use Oracle Suggested Backups. I would like to know which is 100% reliable for effective Backup and Recovery.

Some advice on the above should be of help.
