Our central IT group has been using LANDesk 8.8 and is now deploying V9.    Both versions employ the Kapersky Anti-Virus Engine.  On my production 9i instance installed on W2K, We had noticed that about every 10 days, the server would go into a hang mode and the listener appeared to not work at all.  Existing sessions would continue to work but no new sessions could be created.  The only recovery was a forced power off reboot of the server which also reset the full functionality of the database server.  We were able to link the Oracle Server hang with LANDesk

Howdy, Stranger!
