Need info on changing the OLM enrollment justifications 'search' field to a 'freeform' field

 Need info on changing the OLM enrollment justifications 'search' field to a 'freeform' field.

When going into Oracle Learner Management; when enrolling for a class>pick the course> enroll> enrollment justifications field has an option to search but I want that option (hour glass) to be removed and I insert a free form field that just allows users to enter information.

How is this done? What tools are used?
