Cannot create Operation sequence number 10 on a Work Order.

Work Order already has Operation sequence 1 created which has materials associated with this. We want to create operations sequence number 10 and have materials allocated to this  work order.

When attempting to add additional operations 10 after receipt of direct item against Operation1, the following error occurs.

Error: 1. This direct item record with direct item squnce id (50256) recieved an error status since an unexpected error occurred while performing attribute validations.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Maintenance Super User
2. Create a work order with Operation 1
3. Do an Iproc request
4. Get someone to turn it into a po and do a receipt
