 Looking to figure out a way to get the left of Entity member either in EAS script editor or in Hyperion Studio report..

{RENAME "0419"}      "0419-00004AAA"  rename option forces hard coding of every single member with data within the dimension as the period change different members are displayed.

would like to get seperate column with the left usually four characters  but can be 5 before the dash..

Have been trying different ways in EAS report script and rename so far is the only one that gives the overall output.

I was looking to get two columns one with the original data and one with the truncated data. and if possible a
