Hi,

We implemented a Two Node Oracle 10g RAC on HP-UX (PA-RISC 64-Bit) Servers and migrated 4 Single Instance database to Oracle 10g RAC.

The Oracle 10g RAC installation was done using VERITAS Storage Foundation for RAC (SFRAC) software. The OCR files and the database files are in Raw Devices managed by Veritas Clusters. DR is done VERITAS Volume Replication. (VVR)

Once or twice a month one or both Oracle RAC servers reboot on its own and we are not able to find the reason for this. We escalated this issue to Oracle, Symantec and HP. Oracle says the issue is due to VERITAS and Symantec says the issue is caused by Oracle Process. All crash dumps and log files were sent to Symantec, HP and Oracle.

Howdy, Stranger!
