Miscellaneous Transactions need to have week ending in sync with Month ending

 When capturing Miscellaneous Batch, the weekending date defaults to Sunday.  During the month this is fine but at month end the date needs to be the last day of the month and not the following Sunday.  Is there a way to get around this?
