Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. We are planning to upgrade 10.2.0.3 RAC to 11g RAC. I am trying decide between 11G R1 and 11g R2.

If given an option do you recommend going with 11g R2 or R1, Why?

Is there any issues with running 11.1.0.7 database on 11gR2 cluster?
