Remote_listener in Init.ora

 Hi,

Our audit asks as to set remote_listener='" " so as to prevent the use of a listener on a remote machine separate from the database instance.  Upon checking our database parameters this parameter is not set.

remote_listener                      string

Is this the same as what our audit asks us to do?  Could we safely say that the listener cannot be used from a remote machine?
