Backup Management from Grid Control.

I'm not sure if this belongs in EM or RMAN, so admins feel free to move it.
When I submit backup managment jobs to "DELETE ALL EXPIRED" or "DELETE ALL OBSOLETE" with a Retention Policy of 10 day recovery none of the backupset files are removed.

Maybe this is my ignorance of RMAN, but I had expected all the backup files greater than about 10 days to be removed.

I'm using the "Oracle Suggested" backup scheme from Grid Control to run the backups. 

What do I need to do to prune the backups?


This is running on a Linux 5.2-64bit system with Grid Control 10.2.0.5.
