Restore from Tape

HI all,

     From where I can get information of the last archivelog information taken to the backup. I want to restore the database from only from the tape without out going to the non-backed up archive log and non-archived log files. How can i get the information for SET UNTIL <SCN or SEQUENCE/THREAD> which should take all the archivelog from the tape and only from tape.
