Question on ASM with External Redundancy and best practices

 We have a total of 12 DRIVES
8 drives @ 36 GB each -- we will create 4 RAID-1 LUNS (LUN1,LUN2,LUN3 and LUN4)to be used for creating DATA disk group
4 Drives @ 146 GB each -- we will create 2 RAID-1 LUNS (LUN5 and LUN6) to be used for creating FRA disk group


We will appreciate answers to the following 5 questions:

1.If we loose any LUN from +DATA disk group (LUN1 thru LUN4) will the whole +DATA disk group become inaccessible?
If yes, what other RAID level should we use to avoid the loss of the entire disk group in case of a LUN failure?
