Contract Manager v 12 issues with Java 6 Update 13

 We are using Contract Management 12.1 SP3 and some of our users are unable to get past the login screen.  They are receiving an error message "A new version of JRE has been installed. Your browser needs to be restarted for these changes to take effect."  When we restart the browser and try again, the same message appears.  I have compared several systems and found that the staff members that are using Java 6 Update 7 are able to use the application while staff members with Java 6 Update 13 and higher are having problems.
Is there a way to make Contract Management 12.1 SP3 work with Java 6 Update 13 and higher or will I need to uninstall this version?
