customer form and data restrictions

Hi,

1. Does anybody know if it is possible to enable only a group of customers to be viewed and updated and restrict the rest of them. Are there somekind of security rules? There is divestiture at our company and the new resp is on our common instance but they should not see everything.

2. Are customer form restrictions only possible with custom.pll and/or forms personalization and/or eventually with Change Form Properties function in SysAdmin?
