TNS-12518: TNS : listener could not hand off client connection

Hello Experts,

 

Recently we have been facing this problem of TNS-12518 wherein severa times when we bounce the Server (database) we get the error :

 

 

TNS-12518 : TNS : listener could not hand off client connection

.

And due to this error we can’t even SQLPLUS  to start the database:

 

Whenever we : SQL> connect /as sysdba (after sqlplus /nolog) we get he same error.

 

 

We have even added the parameter  :  DIRECT_HANDOFF_TTC_LISTENER= off    in the Listener.ora file

 

But it did not Help

 

We are using Win2003 Entp Edn

Oracle 12.0.6 with 10g Database.

 

Kindly help us.
