SSHR Leave of Absence Comments - Where do they go?

When an employee submits a Leave of Absence request through SSHR they are able to submit "Comments" about the leave request. These comments appear to be forwarded with the notification, but once the leave is approved the comments are no longer accessible. Where do these comments go and how can they be easily viewed with each absence record?
