Enterprise Manager Problem

Why would I continually get "This table contains columns in a partially dropped state.  No operations are permitted until drop-column operation is completed",no matter which table / instance I try to "View/edit Details" on?  I can do describes, but that doesn't give me the whole picture.  This is Oracle 10.2.0.3, by the way.
