Contract Manager Custom Filters on Reports not working

 We are currently on CM 12.1 Build 1450 on a Sybase DB. We have certain custom functions and custom syntex in some of our reports that we use as external filters for the users. An example would be carving out part of a cost code and then allowing the user to filter by that carved field. We are currently getting ready for a conversion over to SQL DB for a future upgrade to CM 13, but these custom filters we have created no longer work in a SQL environment. I have tried rewritting, but can't figure out a solution to
