Significance of Absorption Account / Variance Account in Resource Definition

 Hi,
What is the Significance of Absorption Account / Variance Account in Resource Definition, while the relevant accounts for charging the resource get picked up from the discrete job WIP accounting class associated with the job.

What will be the impact of eliminating Resource Variance AFF setup in Resource Setup?
