Oracle 11.1.0.7 client install fails on Windows 2008 R2 server.- 64 bit

Hi , i am trying to install 11g client  64 bit on a windows 2008 R2 virtual server on VMware.

During the 'checking os phase' I get this error. Please help!

Expected result: One of 5.0,5.1,5.2,6.0
Actual Result: 6.1
Check complete. The overall result of this check is: Failed <<<<
Problem: Oracle Database 11g is not certified on the current operating system.
Recommendation: Make sure you are installing the software on the correct platform.

OUI-18001: The operating system 'Windows Vista Version 6.1' is not supported.
Recommendation: Install the recommended Service Pack.
