Asset Transfer

Hi all

I all i did a back date transfer of an asset from one location to the next. However, I noticed that the Cost and Accum Depreciation was transfered to the new location, but the depreciation expense was not transfered. Is this standard funtionality or I did something incorrect?

Please advice.
