Should we setup a new ledger or not?

 We are on R12 and need to make a decision on whether we setup a new ledger or use the one we have. Recently our company bought a new subsidiary in US and it’s a LLC. We do not fully own it. (like about 55% of it).Right now we have a setup of a Ledger1->Legal Entity1 ->OU1 and its running fine in Prod.

 

1. Should we just setup a new Legal Entity2 and a OU2 under the existing Ledger1 for this new subsidiary (as we do not fully own it) 

Or create a separate Ledger2 also for it (and have separate accounting)?
