Oracle on Oracle Enterprise Linux slowing down with time

 We're new to OEL - so there's a lot to Linux we still need to learn.

We've been running very large DW on Windows for years. Performance was great - but stability - well......

So we switched to Linux, but we are noticing that after a reboot - performance is incredible - but it decreases slowly with time.

The servers run at 80-90% most of the day - so that must be hard on any OS.

Anyone else experiencing such a gradual decline that gets fixed by a reboot?

Any Linux settings that might help the cause?
