MRC - Reporting Entered and Functional Currency

 Oracle General Ledger version 11.5.10.1 - We are implementing multicurrency, will use 4 currencies and  functional currency is GBP.  Our users must be able to run reports based on account balances for all 4 currencies showing the entered and functional currency in the same report.  And must be realtime and exportable to excel.

Oracle Support confirmed this functionality is not available in standard reports or FSGs, and can generate through custom reports.  We haven't had any experience with custom reports.  Since we had experience with Disco, used it to create materialized view to report on entered and functional currency.  Concerned about performance as data increases.
