Core Contracts in R12

 We are trying to compare 11.5.10 to R12 to determine how upgrading will affect our Contracts module.  Since we own Service contracts but really only use the core contracts piece, what responsibility in the Vision database should we be looking at?  There are several Service Contracts Manager responsibilities but what is the difference between them?
