Agile Viewer filepath

 I'm looking for documentation on extracting the attachment filepath/url from Agile for use by other programs (namely MES in EBS) . There is a way in Agile to get the url, but I'm hoping to use a java extension in EBS. Any/all help is greatly appreciated.
