HOLD on Project-Activities

 Version: Agile 9.3

Is there any other way to put a project activity on HOLD that is predefined besides adding an atribute? The workflow doesnot have a category of HOLD under Status type in order to even create a workflow status. Have anyone ever felt the need for a project to go on Hold once it is in Process or in Not Started phase? If there is any other way to put in on hold besides creating an attribute?Please advice.
