New to WebLogic and Need to Tune based on expected Concurrent users
Hello, I am hoping someone can shed some light on tuning Weblogic/Java for xxx users.
Details:
Tune for 500 concurrent users.
DB=Oracle 10.2.0.4
WL/APP install: BOX A
DB install: BOX B
WL VERSION: 10.3.0 using Primavera 6.2.1
O/S: solaris 10
cpu's (on each box): 8physical with 8 virtual per physical cpu
memory: 256gb
My task is to ensure the environment, when deployed, will support up to 500 concurrent users.
Are there certain "rule of thumb" settings I should look at for the best "bang for the buck"?
What are the critical parameters I should focus on and where are they located (file, etc;).
